Pews have been getting refinished with the help of an awesome group of volunteers. A citrus strip was used to remove the old finish. Now it's down to the detail stripping and sanding. An unexpected blessing came about as the old finish was removed. Scratches, etchings and even some grafitti revealed themselves. Speaking to us from the past saying "I sat here" "I worshipped here". Maybe some of those stories will also reveal themselves in the future.
